Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie, who was born on November 24, 1981 is an American political commentator. She was a former candidate for the US Senate, as well as a television presenter on MSNBC. She was also frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising together with Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball decided to end the show in the month of May 2021. This was to allow for the release of Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast along with Kyle Kulinski. She has guest appearances on Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball is adamant about her fascination with politics to her experiences as a new mom during the 2008 primaries. She also followed the US presidential election from Jordan as she was working there. She was able to observe how the election affected the people in that country, and came to appreciate for US politics' global impact. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 1st congressional District in 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. From June 2012 until July 2015, she was host of the MSNBC program The Cycle. She founded the People's House Project (a political action committee dedicated to Democratic causes) in May of 2017.
