Lily Rabe
American actress Lily Rabe. Her numerous roles on the FX horror series American Horror Story (2011-2021) are among her most famous. The show was nominated for the Tony Award as Best Actress in a Play for her role in The Merchant of Venice. Her film credits include What Just Happened (2008), All Good Things (2010) The Pawn Sacrifice (2014), Miss Stevens (2016), Golden Exits (2017), Vice (2018), Fractured (2019) and The Tender Bar (2021). Rabe is also featured on television in The Whispers (2015) and The Undoing (2020), The Underground Railroad (2021) and The First Lady (2022). Rabe made her debut on screen in 2001 alongside Jill Clayburgh, Rabe's mother. Her stage debut professional was staged by the Gloucester Stage Company in Massachusetts in which she was a part-time actress with her mother. She appeared in Speaking Well of the Dead (by Israel Horovitz) and The Crazy Girl (by Frank Pugliese), roles which enabled her to get an Equity Card. In July 2003, she was back to the Gloucester Stage Company to appear in Proof by David Auburn. The same year, she was in the film Mona Lisa Smile. She returned to New York shortly after she finished her studies. Deirdre O’Connor's White Jesus was her first-act play. It was part of a series known as The Democracy Project, presented by the Naked Angels Theater Company.
